As for the body oils, I'm imagining them to be quite difficult to wear without looking like a Twilight vampire. Mind you, I'm not much of a party person so for all I know these could look stunning in a night time setting - but at the price I can't say I'm really willing to find out. Maybe once I can get myself to Selfridges and have a good swatch I might change my mind but we'll see.
All in all I have to be honest, this collection didn't really do it for me - even the nail polishes didn't excite me, Force (blue) and Jomina (Purple) don't look very unique. Prism, a sheer iridescent blue looks like it could be an amazing layering lacquer but I can't really afford it at the moment. *Sigh*
One thing I will say for the collection, though, is that it has some seriously beautiful accompanying imagery. Don't you agree?
You can check out the new collection, if you haven't already, here on the Illamasqua website. So have you hauled anything? Or did you feel a bit disappointed?

I think I might give into the palette. I dont like Illamasqua tbh but this collection made me drool. Just a little bit.
ReplyDeleteIt could be bigger though.

I've never tried any Illamasqua products but their campaign photography always blows me away!
ReplyDeleteI purchased a lot of Illamasqua eye shadows and a few of their lip products last year. The eye shadows were a really big disappointment and the lip products were OK. I would be very hesitant to buy anymore of their products.
ReplyDeleteI have three of the liquid metals so the palette, which would be something I would have purchased is not worth it. I might get the new LM when I have the cash so I have all four.
