Smokey Red FOTD

Today's FOTD was inspired by the lovely Lu - a couple of days ago she uploaded a gorgeous red/pink eye look to her YouTube Channel. It looked so stunning on her that I had to do something like it today! Like Lu's tutorial, I used BeneFit Eye Bright as a base and it gave a really nice new dimension to the red shadow. The only thing I really did any different was adding some matte black to the outer corner to darken it up a bit. It doesn't seem to want to photo very well, it looks much better in real life! I couldn't find my favourite nude lipstick today (Natural Collection's Apple Blossom) so I tried something else for my lips - I just filled them in with Illamasqua's medium pencil in Hex, and topped with Revlon's super lustrous lipgloss in Peach Petal.

Face
A tiny bit of Revlon PhotoReady mixed with moisturiser
Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer
NYX powder blush in Taupe (to contour)
Topshop cream blush in Flush
Illamasqua powder blush in Hussy
ELF HD Powder (T zone)
Maybelline Dream Mousse Shimmer in Porcelain (highlight)

Eyes
UDPP
BeneFit Eye Bright
Sleek Circus palette - matte red, pink, white, black
Maybelline Line Definer
Bourjois black kohl
MaxFactor Lash Extension Effect mascara
Revlon Fantasy Lengths lashes
(I apologise for my brows in the pics, I didn't do anything to them haha)

This is a bit brighter than I'd normally wear my eyes for everyday, but I quite like it!
