Since I am extremely knackered and only just realised I'd run out of scheduled posts, please enjoy some photos from Colchester before normal service resumes on Monday! It was such a hot day, seriously I reckon the hottest day of the year so far, so much so that most of the animals were sleeping or lazing about but it was awesome anyway.
There were BABY MEERKATS. Oh my god.
I think this one is absolutely adorable.
Fennec Foxes are one of my favourites, I just wish this little guy would have rolled over in his sleep so I could have got pictures other than of his back!
This ostrich was SUCH a poser.
I absolutely love going to the zoo, always one of my favourite days out. What's the best one you've ever been to?
Ohh these photo's are great. I love the zebra's, would make such a cool valentines card. The ostritch is very funny. I love going to the zoo, haven't been in ages...must add it to my to do list.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! It's a bit of a goal of mine to visit a zoo/wildlife sanctuary/whatever in every country I visit, so hopefully one day I'll get to go to Toronto zoo! :-)
DeleteDid you see Raj? (The large male Orangutan). He's my favourite. I used to volunteer at Colchester zoo and being assigned to his enclosure was the highlight of my time there.

ReplyDeleteHahaha oh god that would be amazing if it did, I don't know what he would be saying though. He looks a bit like he's smirking! Ohh, they don't have Giant pandas at Colchester (in fact I'm not sure that there are any the UK at all...) but Colchester have red pandas!
