My education let us work as a trainee, and there I met a wonderful talented teacher. She is the kind of teacher I want to be, she is strict but loving, and always has the children in focus. she maintain a high quality in her teaching while she at the same time is emotionally prestent in every aspect of the job.

I just learned about a man who has brought a clinic to Nepal to cure people's cararacts, which are common in the isolated mountain communities because of the high levels of UV radiation and a lack of medical care. He does this for free. He's curing thousands of people and giving them back their sight.

This is kinda corny, but I admire my fiance. He was never really did well in school and he busted his butt to get to be a firefighter. It was a lot of schooling and patience. He risks his life to go into buring buildings to save other people. I don't think I could do that. He is also a paramedic. I could never do that! Me+blood=no good.

For the longest time it was my dad, I thought the sun rose and set within him. As I grew older I started realizing all of the horrible things he had done within my mom and his relationship before I knew to make an opinion. Now, it's my salon owner. She was my teacher in beauty school and she has successfully kept a salon up and running since June 1st of 09. I've been there since before day one and I know how much work it has been for her. She has two kids, 2 and 8, and a very hectic home life along with keeping the salon busy. I know I wouldn't be where I am today without her.

ReplyDeleteThe person I admire the most in my life has got to be my father, I know, weird right? But he's taught me how to solve issues without making them problems along with helping me pick out the right makeup and nail polish to match my formal dress. He's everything I could have dreamed of as a dad, and Im lucky to have him.

ReplyDeleteMy Dad, who has since passed away. If it wasn't for him always telling me he loved me no matter what crazy/stupid thing I did next (and I was quite a challenge as a kid). He made me feel loved and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't do the work I now do as a behavioral therapist with adolescents who are struggling. Love HIM!

The person that I admire most is my Nana. She is one of the strongest women I know she raised four children on her own when she was younger. Everyday she is so full of life she goes out and knows how to have a good time. My favorite example is how she just got a tattoo last year and her ears double pierced haha. :D

ReplyDeleteThe person I admire the most is my dad. He works so unbelievably hard to give us the best even though he is getting old and has less energy than before. As the man of the house, he always mans up to do the physical labour even though his back hurts. He always makes final decisions - sometimes resulting in us being really unhappy - and becomes the bad guy just so he can ultimately keep us safe or give us a better future. He is a man of integrity and although I may not always see it, I am so, so grateful he raised me.
